# Nelson CBD Expansion FAQs

**CityFitness Nelson CBD is getting an upgrade!**

We’re making some exciting changes to create an even better experience for our members. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be renovating and refreshing parts of the club to bring you an improved space to train and move.

As we work through the renovations, there may be a few temporary disruptions along the way. We appreciate your patience while the work is underway **the wait will be worth it!**

We can’t wait for you to see what’s coming.

 

**What is happening?**

CityFitness Nelson CBD is being refreshed!

The renovation will bring:

- On-Demand Reformer Pilates Studio
- Deluxe Recovery Room
- A brand-new Multi-Purpose Studio
- Completely refreshed and brand-new bathrooms
- An expanded fitness floor with almost double the training space
- Additional new equipment

 

**How long will the renovations take?**

- The renovations will begin this Spring and are expected to take approximately three months.
- The work will be completed in stages so the club can remain open throughout the upgrade.

**Will the club be closing?**

No. The club will remain open throughout the renovation.

The work will be completed in stages, so there may be temporary changes to access or certain areas of the club. Please follow in-club signage and any updates from our team.

 

**Will Group Fitness classes still be available?**

Yes. Group Fitness classes will continue throughout the renovation.

There may be occasional timetable changes or class cancellations while work is taking place. Any updates will be communicated through the CityFitness app.

**Will there be new equipment?**

Yes. We'll be adding new strength and cardio equipment, along with new training and recovery spaces, including On-Demand Reformer Pilates, a Deluxe Recovery Room, and a brand-new Multi-Purpose Studio.
